Stepping Forward Launch Event

In February 2025, we were delighted to officially launch Stepping Forward: Performing Arts for Life at Tring Park School for the Performing Arts.

The event brought together partners, supporters, local authority representatives, and young people to celebrate the start of an exciting new programme designed specifically for young people in care. Through the performing arts, Stepping Forward aims to help young people build confidence, develop valuable life skills, explore creative opportunities, and earn financial rewards for their achievements.

Guests heard from inspiring speakers, learned more about the vision behind the programme, and explored how the performing arts can create positive opportunities for young people. The event also provided a chance to discuss the importance of creativity, self-expression, and aspiration in supporting young people to reach their full potential.

Since launching, Stepping Forward has welcomed young people from local authorities across England, Scotland, Wales and N.Ireland and we are excited to continue growing the programme and supporting more young people on their creative journeys.
